Most common keyboard shortcuts
Shortcut | Action |
Tab key | Focuses the next control element. |
Shift + tab | Focuses the previous control element. |
Enter | Activates buttons or menu items and opens objects |
Spacebar | Activates the selected button. |
Context menu key and Shift + F10 | Opens the context menu for the selected object (if available). |
Arrow keys, Pos1, END | Navigates in toolbars, lists and tree views. |
Global navigation
All control elements are located in the tabulator sequence. This means that you can move forwards and backwards from one control to another.
Shortcut | Action |
Tab key | Navigates to the next control element. |
Shift + tab | Navigates to the previous control element. |
Alt + 0 | Activates the “Support“ button, if available. |
Alt + 1 | Navigates in the search field. |
Alt + 2 | Navigates to the content area. |
Alt + 3 | Navigates to the tool area |
Alt + 4 | Navigates to the search tabs. |
Alt + 5 | Navigates in the header. |
Alt + s | Saves the current search. |
Within individual complex control elements such as menus or tree views, the arrow keys are used to navigate in sub-menus or tree branches, for example.
Header and actions
In the header and with actions for a result, the following keyboard shortcuts are available for use.
Shortcut | Action |
Right or downwards | Navigates to the next button (after the last button, you jump back to the first button). |
Left or upwards | Navigates to the previous button (after the first button, you jump back to the last button). |
Enter, spacebar | Carries out the action of the selected button. |
Search tabs
In the search tabs, the following keyboard shortcuts are available for use.
Shortcut | Action |
Right or downwards | Navigates to the next search tab (after the last search tab, you jump back to the first search tab). |
Left or upwards | Navigates to the previous search tab (after the first search tab, you jump back to the last search tab). |
End | Navigates to the last search tab. |
Pos1 | Navigates to the first search tab. |
F2 | Edit the search tab |
Del | Delete the search tab |
Context menu key or Shift + F10 | Opens the context menu to start the edit mode |
Filters
In the filters, the following keyboard shortcuts are available for use.

Right or downwards | Navigates to the next filter (after the last filter, you jump back to the first filter). |
Left or upwards | Navigates to the previous filter (after the first filter, you jump back to the last filter). |
