In this document, the creation of a Mindbreeze InSpire Virtual Machine on Google Compute Cloud Engine will be explained.
The following requirement needs to be fulfilled:
Create a Virtual Machine from the Google Cloud Marketplace image by searching for “Mindbreeze InSpire”. Here you can choose between the contract tiers Mindbreeze InSpire 1M or Mindbreeze InSpire 10M.
Select the contract tier you want and in the next step, press “Get started”.
In this step you can deploy Mindbreeze InSpire from the Google Cloud Marketplace. Please note, that not all instance types are available in all regions and pricing may vary between regions. Please contact the Mindbreeze Presales team about the currently recommended instance types.
You can deploy Mindbreeze InSpire by configuring the sections “Deployment Service Account”, “Machine type”, “Boot disk” and “Networking”. These sections will be explained in more detail in the following chapters.
Set the name of your new Mindbreeze InSpire deployment and choose between an existing service account or create a new account. After that, please select the zone where you want to deploy your Mindbreeze InSpire.
You get the recommended machine type for your Mindbreeze InSpire appliance from the Mindbreeze Presales Team.
Select the recommended Row and the suitable Machine type in the dropdown menu.
Please select a balanced persistent disk as boot disk type and set the size to 1740 GB.
Make sure to configure an external IP address if needed.
On Google Cloud, the disk is resized automatically according to the size entered when deploying the Virtual Machine (boot and data is combined in the same disk).
