The menu item “Services” in the Management Center provides you with an overview of the current status of all created services, indices, nodes, as well as a list of all installed category plugins and extension point plugins. In addition, you can retrieve various status values of your Mindbreeze InSpire.
Lists the following currently configured services:
The "Node" table shows the associated Node.
The "Associated Index" table shows the associated index.
Lists all currently available nodes.
You have the option to start/stop the node by opening the gear icon and clicking "Start" or "Stop".
The "Number of Services" table shows the number of associated services.
Lists all installed plugins. This includes connectors that have implemented an Access and optionally a Context interface, that are pre-installed in InSpire, but have also been uploaded manually.
Lists the plugins that have been uploaded manually.
In the menu item “Administration”, administrative tasks can be performed and status information viewed. If an outdated version of PostgreSQL is in use, the necessary migration can be performed here.
Hint: For the menu item “Administration”, you need the role “InSpire Builtin Database Administrator” or “InSpire System Administrator.”
A list of all Mindbreeze InSpire roles can be found in Configuration - Back-End Credentials - Description of the Mindbreeze InSpire Roles.
For more information about the management of roles, see Initial Startup for G7 appliances - Manage Roles.
If you are still using an older version of PostgreSQL, you will need to migrate to version 15. PostgreSQL versions older than version 15 will no longer be supported in future Mindbreeze InSpire Releases.
The duration of the migration depends on the size of the database. During the migration, some functions such as app.telemetry, persisted queries, alerting, and others will not be available. The client service may also restart.
Perform the migration as follows:
In the “Home” window, go to the section “PostgreSQL”.
Click “Migrate to Version 15” to start the migration.
Uncheck the box “Dry-Run” and run the migration by clicking “Start Migration”.
Once the migration has been successfully completed, the status changes to “OK,” and the log can be viewed live. The red notification banner disappears after the page is refreshed.
