The notification feature provides a service that notifies users by e-mail about changes in search results.
For example: A user searches for a specific search term (e.g. “Mindbreeze Folder“) and uses the filter facets to display PDF documents. For this search, the user receives 50 results.
The user can now subscribe to an e-mail notification (in a configurable interval) if the number of results changes.
The improved document update behavior provides a more compact index by avoiding redundant document replacements. This behavior is configurable and can be tailored to your specific needs.
Chinese word decomposition now has an additional operating mode.
You can choose between “default” and “search” mode to achieve the best results for your use-case.
The improved logging output of the LDAP principal cache makes troubleshooting easier.
The release of the Microsoft SharePoint connector supports deny policies at the Web-Application level of Microsoft SharePoint.
The AuthorizedWeb-Connector now supports the extraction of ACL directly from the URLs.
The Web-Connector can now be configured to prepend a string to each extracted metadata name from a sitemap.
The Atlassian Confluence sitemap generator can now optimize the ACL-entries, which leads to a more compact and efficient sitemap.
It is now possible to configure the autocompletion feature using the configuration interface. Existing default settings will be preserved; however, the use of the data-source-id pattern instead of the data-source-pattern is recommended.
The display of many components has been improved.
The Search-App component map now supports the display of multiple map markers per search result.
Relevancy rules using the Term2DocumentBoost transformer are now processed more efficiently.
Frequent changes to vocabularies or synonyms are now processed more efficiently.
Filenames including special characters (for example: %) are now displayed correctly in the search results.
File system folders that include no files are now included in the search result as well.
The Microsoft File Connector now has a configurable file size limit and ignores files that exceed it.
The LDAP principal cache is now separated in one partition per domain. This enables separate cache updates for each domain.
The health checks now verify the functional availability in regular configurable intervals.
