With the Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release, users can operate Mindbreeze InSpire easier and faster and enjoy an optimized user experience. The user interface of the Management Center has been adapted in terms of consistency and usability to simplify the Administration of Insight Services for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
To offer a more efficient use of the Insight App Designer, the handling of filters has been significantly optimized. With the categorization of filters, users can find and select filters more quickly and in a more targeted manner. In addition, it is now possible to exclude and hide internal metadata for end users, making it safer and easier to select the right filter.
Furthermore, users can navigate more quickly through a wide selection of filters due to translated filter names and an optimized filter search. This provides users with comprehensible and sensibly grouped filters.
The Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release provides Mindbreeze customers with an intuitive solution for repeating evaluation runs of RAG pipelines. With the help of a repeat function, users can re-run evaluations that have already been carried out with the same evaluation configuration and easily obtain the current status. Users can obtain comparable evaluation results to analyze the effects of changes, for example to the retrieval or prompt configuration.
Users can repeat an evaluation with just a few clicks, whereas Mindbreeze InSpire adopts the settings from the previous evaluation. Before the repetition of the evaluation, it is possible to adjust the applied settings.
In addition, when evaluating RAG pipelines, search restrictions can be specified to control the search results more precisely. With this, special use cases can be tested quickly and easily, for example the search can be restricted to certain documents or just one document. Through this, users get measurable results without having to create a specific RAG pipeline for each test case.
The Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release extends the API for Insight Services for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Users of the Mindbreeze Insight Services for RAG API can now request details with their queries to obtain, among other things, the logarithmic probabilities (log probs) of the generated tokens.
With the Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release, it is now possible to specifically control in the indexing API whether the calculation of the semantic vector representation is necessary for a property. Users are able to define externally which properties the semantic search can also use. In the event of content changes, vector representations are generated again if an actual change to the searchable content is recognized.
At the operating system level, it is also possible to limit the number of processors used for indexes and other content extraction processes. With this, the resources of a container can be controlled without having to adapt the configuration.
With the Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release, the configuration of Content Security Policies is now possible. Customers can now independently customize Content Security Policies according to their requirements in the Client Service. The individually configured Content Security Policies are sent along in the Client Service and thus increase the security of your Insight Apps. This provides customers with additional protection against threats such as cross-site scripting (XSS) or click checking.
With the Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release, Mindbreeze customers can use an optimized PDF preview of documents and a more structured display of 360-degree views. The handling of pop-ups in the PDF preview has been optimized. Therefore, in the preview of a 360-degree view, users are now provided with a more structured display of Interactive Exploded Views. In addition, the highlighting of several lines of annotations in the PDF preview is now also possible.
With the Mindbreeze InSpire 24.5 release, the configuration of client notifications has been optimized. Administrators can enable or disable all client notifications by adding and setting the property "enableAllNotifications". In addition, the number of client notification requests has been reduced to provide users with more compact and more precise information.
