Release Notes for Mindbreeze InSpire
Version 26.2
Release Highlights
Ad-hoc linking of non-indexed content with indexed content
With the Mindbreeze InSpire 26.2 Release, Mindbreeze customers can now upload non-indexed documents to Mindbreeze InSpire and immediately link them semantically to information from the index. There, an Interactive Exploded View is applied and the document content is expanded with indexed content through referenced entities. Users can thus quickly and intuitively access all relevant information about the document and receive further and supplementary information through annotated terms and labels.

For example, a newly received management report can be uploaded to Mindbreeze InSpire in no time and be enriched with additional information, like the current order status or project status, with the Interactive Exploded View. With this, users get access to the same relevant information within seconds, just as they would with an indexed document.
To use the non-indexed document with the Mindbreeze InSpire AI Chat, for example, the indexing of the document is necessary because the document will not be saved in the Mindbreeze InSpire application or in the index after the usage. The indexing of the document is performed according to the specified schedules.

Security
Various updates
The Mindbreeze InSpire 26.2 Release includes various security updates for Tomcat, Chromium, Core OS, Dell firmware, Libexpat, Keycloak, and OpenJDK.
Additional Features
Network Policies and log schedules are available in Kubernetes
Kubernetes administrators can now secure the data traffic of their Kubernetes containers in detail with the Mindbreeze InSpire 26.2 Release. By using Kubernetes NetworkPolicies, communication at the IP and port level between containers and network entities, such as endpoints and services, can be monitored and restricted as needed.
Additionally, log schedules are available to automate log management. These log schedules allow administrators to manage the retention period of logs as well as their archiving and compression. By defining a cleanup schedule and a maximum size for log files, Kubernetes administrators can set the parameters for the deletion of logs.
Documentation
Comprehensive documentation for the migration of the Microsoft SharePoint Online connector available
As described in the Mindbreeze InSpire 26.1 Release Notes, Microsoft will retire the Azure ACS (Access Control Services) authentication service on April 2, 2026. To ensure the continued functionality of the Microsoft SharePoint Online Connector, the authentication method must be switched to certificate-based authentication using a Microsoft Entra ID application.
If you encounter any problems during the migration, please contact the Mindbreeze Support Desk Team via the ticketing system: https://tickets.mindbreeze.com/
